The British American Business Council of New England (BABCNE) recently announced that Arthur N. Mabbett, Chairman of Mabbett & Associates, Inc. US (Mabbett®) and Mabbett & Associates Ltd, UK will be awarded the 2018 Consul-General Award at the BABCNE 3rd Annual Business Award Luncheon at the University of Massachusetts Club in Boston, MA on June 26.
The UK Consul-General Award celebrates United States (US)/United Kingdom (UK) excellence, innovation, leadership, and success in international business, of which Mabbett has accomplished in the last 22 years since establishing Mabbett Ltd.
In 1996, Arthur N. Mabbett, Chairman, Mabbett Inc. established an environmental, health and safety consulting and engineering firm in Glasgow, UK as an inward-investment company. The firm has grown to become one of the largest and respected independently-owned consulting and engineering firms in the UK with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh-Rosyth, Inverness, Cardiff and Belfast. It has a current staff of 35 and works throughout the UK, European Union (EU), Middle East and Africa, Caribbean and the US.
For over three decades the BABCNE has worked to promote opportunities for businesses to succeed across the Atlantic, to help Brits coming to New England with introductions, networking and access to local leaders, and to support the British Consulate in its mission to champion the UK as a vibrant innovative country, open for business.
