Personal Touch
Outside of work, I like spending my time outdoors. I enjoy fishing with my son, brother, and father, primarily for big game fish such as ocean run Striped Bass and fresh water largemouth bass. I’m also quite fond of ice fishing, mountain biking, and camping. My wife on the other hand loves the beach, so I often find myself on the coast at local beaches or in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Additionally, I consider myself a zymurgist, which practices the art of fermenting sugar (beer brewing). All in all, I’m proud to say that I am the first and only registered professional engineer in my family, so I like to think I am paving (no pun intended) the way for future civil engineers.
