Mabbett is proud to support the USACE New England District and the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in the fight against Hydrilla verticillata—a highly invasive aquatic plant threatening local ecosystems. 🌱
Our team collected critical phenological data to better understand Hydrilla’s life cycle, providing USACE with valuable insights to inform targeted management strategies. These efforts are key to suppressing its growth and minimizing its spread throughout the Connecticut River and its tributaries. See the USACE New England District topic’s page for more information about on-going efforts to study and manage hydrilla in the Connecticut River here: https://lnkd.in/gWC6zDHk
