Our History
Mabbett was founded by Arthur N. Mabbett and was incorporated in Massachusetts in 1980. The firm is a privately held Chapter “S” Corporation. In 2007 Mabbett acquired the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Services Division of MasiMax Resources, Inc. in Virginia and established a Washington, D.C. presence. Mabbett’s growth continued with the opening of regional offices in Rhode Island in 2008 and New York in 2018.
Mabbett is a U.S Small Business Administration certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) due to Arthur Mabbett’s 19 years of meritorious service as a Major, Environmental Sciences Officer in the U.S. Army both on active duty and in the Army Reserves.
