Mabbett is pleased to announce that the firm has been awarded a $3.3M Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Environmental Water Testing for Legionella from the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 (VISN 1).

Mabbett, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), along with subcontractor Phigenics, will assist and support VISN 1 with managing and conducting environmental water testing for Legionella and Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC) in Dental Clinics VISN-wide.

Mabbett has been serving VISN 1 as an SDVOSB prime contractor since 2006. The firm is an established VISN 1 contract holder delivering high quality environmental, health and safety engineering and consulting services on multiple VISN-wide contracts including an A/E Services ID/IQ; Hazardous Waste Disposal, Training and Emergency Services ID/IQ; Chemical Tracking Program; Regulated Building Materials Inspections; and Environmental Compliance Audits in addition to other VISN 1 VA Medical Center contracts. Mabbett has been a New England based firm since 1980 with extensive New England environmental regulatory knowledge and network with offices in Bedford, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island.
